Sharing deployments

Once a bundle has been created, you you can distribute it safely:

  1. Download the encrypted .kvdeployment file from the Deployments page.
  2. Share it over your approved channel (Git, artifact repository, etc.).
  3. On the destination Splunk environment, upload the bundle and deploy.
  4. Apply the bundle; KV King creates or updates the referenced forms and embeddings.

Every bundle is encrypted as a JWT to ensure that malicious actors cannot modify the content. With that said, Mission Analytics does not warrant the content of any .kvdeployment bundle.
